Ring 1 – Equitation
All the equitation classes (1, 2, 3, 7, 8 & 9) are to be ridden in a simple snaffle bridle. Spurs are not allowed. Whips must not exceed 30 ins (75cm) in length. Classes 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12 & 13 any suitable bridle

Mare or gelding 4 years & over, exceeding 148cm. Riders any age. Riders will be expected to jump a small fence. Class may be split if entries permit. Overall Highest place Horse and Pony Qualify for STARS.
Class 5 Beginners Riding Club Pony1
Riders aged 9 yrs. and under. Mare or gelding 4 years & over, not exceeding 148cm. Riders will be expected to jump a small fence. The overall points winner of this class will not be eligible to enter the classes in the future, even with another pony. Please enter this class in the spirit it is intended. Not to enter class 4
Class 6 Lead Rein Equitation (STARS Qualifying Class)1
Riders aged 9 years and under. Ponies not to ex 128cm.

Class 12 Tiny Tot Handlers1 (STARS Qualifying Class)
Handler must be 4yrs – 7yrs or under. Horse should be suitable size for the handler. Supervised Allowed
Class 13 Junior Handlers (STARS Qualifying Class)
Handler must be 8yrs – 11yrs or under, Horse should be suitable size for the handler.
Class 14 Young Handlers (STARS Qualifying Class)
Handler must be 12yrs – 17yrs or under, Horse should be suitable size for the handler.
Ring 2 – Showjumping
Rules for this ring will be B.S.J.A except where BDRC rules apply, which will take precedence. Class may be split between Juniors and Seniors depending on entries. Whips must not exceed 30 ins (75cm) in length

Not exceeding 50cms in first round. 2nd Round shortened course not exceeding 60cms, against the clock. May include small spread and fillers.
Class 17 60cms Jumping 5
Not exceeding 60cms in first round, 2nd Round shortened course not exceeding 65cms, against the clock.

Class 22 Lead Rein Plaited Showing (STARS Qualifying Class) 1
Ponies not exceeding 128cm, riders aged 9 years and under. To be led by an attendant and shown in a Snaffle bridle only, lead rein attached to noseband only.
Class 23 Walk and Trot Class1
Open to all, please enter in the spirit of the class. The child may be accompanied off the Lead rein. The judge will expect at least walk and trot. Optional Canter in individual show only.
Class 24 First Ridden Plaited Showing (STARS Qualifying Class) 2
Ponies not to exceeding 128cm. Riders aged 11 years and under. Any suitable bridle. No cantering except in the individual show.
Class 25 Open Ridden 2,3
Mare or gelding 4years old and over, Rider any age but must be suitable size for mount. Open to Registered and Unregistered Horses or Ponies.
Class 26 Novice Ridden Showing2,3
Mare or gelding, Snaffle bridle only. Not to have won an overall first prize in any ridden class. Riders must be correct age for height of pony.
